Introduction:
TrophyCatch Season 14 launches on October 1st, 2025. This allows anglers until September 30th, 2026 to pursue and land an 8+ lbs. bass! This unique program unites anglers who document their bass, conservation partners who award prizes and your catch data which helps fisheries managers understand where, when and how the biggest bass are being caught in Florida. It takes all three groups collaborating for this program to be successful!
Rules & Prizes:
If this is your first time to the website, visit the Gallery of Catches page to see where the biggest bass were caught in Florida, and if you’re a seasoned TrophyCatch angler, revisit the Rules page for Season 14 highlights. Some updates include: the angler's responsibility to keep their contact information correct to receive any prizes and the submitted weight must be the primary weight displayed on the scale. Anglers with an approved Hall of Fame Club catch that includes a length photograph will win an additional $50 Bass Pro Shops gift card.
Season 13 Boat Drawing at NASCAR:
Mark your calendar for two reasons to join the TrophyCatch team at the Daytona 500 in February 2026! First the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be on Friday (2/14) with a TrophyCatch wrapped truck pursuing checkers! Second, on Sunday (2/15) you won’t want to miss the exciting “Reverse Drawing” to see who wins the Season 13 Phoenix Boat Package!
What is Trophy Catch?

What is TrophyCatch?

TrophyCatch is a free bass fishing program in Florida, the Fishing Capital of the World! We ask anglers who pursue Florida and largemouth bass to be prepared to photo or video document any bass weighing 8 lbs. or heavier. Each catch provides invaluable data that guides management decisions.

Let TrophyCatch validate and brag about your amazing catch all the while winning great prizes from our conservation partners like Bass Pro Shops. Want to participate?

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Be legal, be properly licensed and fish in fresh or brackish water within the State of Florida. Check your gear and ensure that you have a working scale and camera.
  • Map it out; explore where TrophyCatch fish are being caught in your area to plan your fishing trip.
  • Catch and document your TrophyCatch.
For more details please read the Rules.

The TrophyCatch conservation partners are a crucial part of TrophyCatch, and we are extremely grateful for all of the participating anglers who make the program the most successful angler-driven conservation program in the United States.
